Hello Families :

Elementary students checked out and brought home up to 10 books today from the school library. With the unpredictable situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and some states closing schools, we wanted to be sure students had books on hand at home. We will continue to keep you updated as warranted.

With the increasing numbers of students experiencing colds and flu like symptoms, please be judicious when deciding if your child should attend school for any given day. Within the last two months we have seen an increase in flu like illness. The onset of symptoms are generally; sore throat, stomach ache and headache with mild fever. Any combination of these is the first indicator that perhaps "something is brewing". Often times students are returning to school too soon after illness when another day of rest is what is truly needed. I totally understand that this can be a challenge for parents as it relates to time away from your work.
