Dia de los Muertos
A note from K-5th CLD teachers JoAnn Lopez and Kim Gonzales-
The first two days of November, Dia de Los Muertos is celebrated by many of our students based off their family traditions and cultures. As a way to celebrate culture and diversity of our students we read, watched a short video, discussed and answered questions about Dia de los Muertos. We also ordered Pan de Muerto which is “bread of the dead” for our students and Elementary staff. It was enjoyed by all!

Greetings,
The 1st 9 weeks is gone so fast, and starting the 2nd one. I was very pleased to visit with several parents for conferences.
We are planning on doing Hula Hoops, Basketball, Jump Roping, and fitness circuits. We did finish the Fitness Gram for upper elementary and had great outcomes.
We are working on vocabulary words in physical education. Expanding are words we utilize in P.E. is an extension of the classroom. The skills, gym safety rules & procedures are continuously worked on. Please reach out to me if you ever have questions.
Best Regards,
