We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all attendees of the Milwood Open House. Your participation in this important community event was greatly appreciated. The evening was a resounding success, marked by enthusiastic engagement from students and families alike. We were delighted to observe visitors exploring our complimentary book collection, touring our classrooms, and fostering meaningful connections within our school community. This event would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our volunteers and staff members who contributed to its organization and execution. We look forward to continued partnerships with our families as we work together to support student success at Milwood.

Regular attendance and punctual arrival are essential components of student success. Excessive tardies, early dismissals, and absences may accumulate and contribute to chronic absenteeism, particularly during the early stages of the academic year. We recognize that illnesses, medical appointments, and unforeseen emergencies do occur. To the extent practicable, we encourage students to attend school and remain present for the duration of the instructional day.

Thank you to those who have filled out the educational Benefits Form already! This is very important so that we get the full amount of funding needed for our students. This can affect the number of tutors we can have in our building and our ability to continue to have community in schools resources if we don't have everyone's support in filling out these forms.
