Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey for Families
Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
Please take a moment to fill out the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Survey for Families. This survey will provide our district with information on your experiences with OUSD. The survey data will be shared with our LCAP committee. Your feedback will be used to make recommendations to the Board of Education based on the needs of our OUSD community. The survey will be open until February 29, 2024.

E-Bike Safety
Important reminders as we share the road with e-bike riders.
Classroom Celebrations
OUSD is delighted to help support all classroom celebrations within our district. Classroom celebrations must meet the federal guidelines for our Smart Snack-approved program.
We offer a variety of nutritionally dense snack items that can be purchased through our cafeteria. From cookies and crackers to ice cream bars and juice boxes. For pricing on these items please contact Nelly in our cafeteria.
In addition to these items, we also provide free pizza parties for classroom celebrations in place of the student's regular lunch. For more information please contact Nelly in the cafeteria 2 weeks prior to your celebration.
OUSD Chain of Communication
We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication
Blackboard Communication Platform
OUSD messages families using a platform called Blackboard Communications. This allows teachers and staff to send an email, text or voice message directly to the email address or phone number you have listed in Aeries. You no longer need to download any third party apps to receive messages from OUSD. The only district supported app that families should download is the OUSD app. It’s important that all the adults in your student’s life have updated contact information in Aeries so everyone can receive important messages from your student’s school.
