ISAAC Family Newsletter

Students are considered chronically absent if they miss 10% or more of school days for any reason, which is no more than 18 school days a year. As we move into the new year, please continue to prioritize daily attendance and getting your children to school on time.

If your child has an appointment, they are welcome to attend school before or after the appointment.

As a reminder, please call the school whenever your child needs to be absent at (860)447-1003.

We are excited to share that our students will have the opportunity to play two basketball games at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT this season!

The Coast Guard Academy is a federal facility that complies with the REAL ID Act that sets standards for authenticating personal identification. All spectators must present a valid REAL ID to enter the campus or an alternative form of ID such as a passport, military ID, or permanent resident card. All persons ages 18 or older who fail to produce a REAL ID or acceptable identification method will not be able to access the Coast Guard Academy.

You can visit the following website to ensure your state driver's license meets the REAL ID compliance standards. https://upgradedpoints.com/travel/real-id-act/

Please plan ahead to ensure you have the proper identification, as entry will not be permitted without it.

We are proud of our student-athletes and look forward to cheering them on at this special venue!

More details about dates and times of games will be shared in the upcoming months.
