Cool New Books
We are excited about the many new books recently added to the library collection! The new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book was a big hit! All six copies were checked out immediately!
Hot Cocoa Days
The media center will feature a "Hot Cocoa Cafe" in the mornings (during Eagle Pride Time) the week before winter break. Students will be able to warm up with hot chocolate--and a good book--before school.

DIY for Kids
DIY.org is a neat website where kids can find dozens of DIY projects that they can do on their own or with their parents. DIY.org provides videos and instructions on how to do the projects. When a project is completed, a photo can be uploaded and shared with others on the website. Kids cannot register on DIY.org without a parent's permission. Parents have their own dashboards that they can use to track the activities of their children. Children who register have aliases and cartoon avatar pictures. Students can learn about art, athletics, building, business, citizenship, gardening, engineering, philosophy, and more!
Periodic Text Message Table
Do you know every single one of the text message acronyms your students are using? This "Periodic Text Message Table" should shed some light on that "language"!
