You need to complete the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for certain Federal and State grants. Some scholarship and grant applications also require the submission of a copy of your FAFSA Submission Summary. Refer to the video below for more information about the FAFSA.

In order to receive In-State tuition, you must complete your NC Residency Determination. Completing your RDS is also a stipulation to receive grant or scholarship money from the state of North Carolina should you qualify.
