JKES CardinalChronicleWeek of August 9, 2026

πŸ˜€ Dear Cardinal Families, πŸ˜€ Dear Cardinal Families,

We are so excited to welcome our students and families back for another wonderful school year at John Kerr Elementary! We hope your summer has been filled with fun, relaxation, and special time together.

Our teachers and staff have been busy preparing classrooms, planning engaging learning experiences, and getting everything ready for our students. The building just isn’t the same without them, and we can’t wait to see their smiling faces walking through our doors!

Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 11! As we begin this new year together, we look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and lots of special memories.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our JKES community. We are grateful for the partnership we share with our families and are excited about all that this year will bring.

Enjoy the last couple of days of summer, get those backpacks ready, and we’ll see everyone Tuesday morning!

Welcome back, Cardinals! Let’s make it a great year! β€οΈπŸ’™
