Dear OCS Family,

As we close another incredible school year, I want to thank our students, families, staff, and community for the support, encouragement, and partnership you continue to show Oxford City Schools. This year has been filled with achievements worth celebrating, from success in the classroom to accomplishments in athletics, fine arts, career tech, and so much more. Our students continue to impress us, and none of it would be possible without the people who pour into them each day.

As someone new to the role of superintendent at Oxford, I also want to personally thank the community for the warm welcome my family and I have received. In such a short amount of time, we feel like we have found a home here. It has been great getting to know our students, families, and staff, and I look forward to meeting many more of you at the wonderful events, programs, and activities that make Oxford City Schools so special.

I hope each of you has a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break. Thank you for being part of the Yellow Jacket family and for the important role you play in supporting our students.

As always — Go Big O!

G. Todd Haynie, PhD
