Teacher conferences will be held on October 28 (in person) and October 29 (remote). Meet the Teacher registration for these conferences will be emailed home in the next two weeks.

For student safety, we ask families to avoid using DoorDash, Grubhub, or other food delivery services for student lunches. Delivery drivers are not permitted inside the school office, and any food delivered will be left in the foyer for student pickup. Thank you for helping us limit unnecessary visitors to our building and keep Marie Murphy safe!

Please pay transportation and extracurricular fees as soon as possible. For extracurricular fees, pay before October 1, 2026 to receive the early bird discount.

Reminder: On Tuesday, September 29th your 6th grader has the opportunity to begin the New Trier Math testing process. We will start with the NWEA Map Math test after school in Mrs. Allen's room from 3:30-5:30.

Please complete this google form to identify that your student will participate in this process.

Avoca West and Marie Murphy are hosting a Community Book Drive for Bernie's Book Bank and we need your help! Please donate new or gently used children’s books. Bernie's accepts new and gently used children’s books for children from birth through sixth grade reading level. Bernie's loves all books- fiction, non-fiction, chapter books, picture books and everything in between! Please no textbooks, dictionaries, activity books, coloring books, reference material or religious books.
