RHS Modernization Project

• Continue foundation work, including reinforcing steel installation for pier caps and grade beams.
• Begin underground electrical installation for Building E.
• Install anchor bolts and steel column baseplate templates following completion of foundation work.

To create sufficient clearance around the new building site the sidewalk on 23rd street will be shifted into the street parking zone. Temporary barriers will placed to define the sidewalk and protect walkers.

The Richmond High School Modernization project involves demolishing a portion of the classroom building to make way for a new two-story building along 23rd Street. The remaining classroom section will be updated, including the installation of new windows. The large gym and the 600 buildings will receive a refresh.

We are accepting applications to join the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The CBOC reviews bond-funded school projects and informs the public about bond expenditures and uses.
