After-School Dismissal Safety
Message from the Principal
We understand that, at times, parents may arrive a few minutes after dismissal, and we are happy to ensure students remain safely supervised during that time. However, students must stay with the supervising adults at the school entrance and are not permitted to leave to play in the park or other areas of the school grounds.
Please speak with your child to ensure they understand this expectation clearly. There is no school supervision provided at the park after dismissal.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe.

Strathcona County
Speed Limit Survey
Strathcona County is exploring ways to increase safety and support active transportation in our community. This includes potentially reducing residential speed limits to 40 km/h within urban residential areas (see map.)
The survey is your opportunity to share your experience driving, walking or rolling on Strathcona County residential streets. Take the survey before June 9th 2026.

No decisions have been made yet. Your input will help inform a plan to potentially reduce residential speed limits. The plan will be presented to Council later this year.
