February 10, 2026: Two Levy Renewals on the Ballot
I encourage all community members to take time to read and carefully review the facts about two levy renewals that will appear on the February 10, 2026 ballot. These are replacement levies for funding that our community last approved in 2022. It's important to understand that there are TWO separate propositions on the ballot:
Message from Superintendent
Coupeville School District
Happy New Year, and welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed a restful winter break filled with time spent with loved ones.
As we step into 2026 together, I'm filled with gratitude for this incredible community. Your ongoing support for our schools and students means everything. You show up for our young people every single day; whether it's through volunteering, attending events, or simply encouraging them to do their best. That commitment doesn't go unnoticed, and it makes all the difference.
This February, we have two renewal levies on the ballot that are vital to continuing the quality education our students deserve. These levies help us maintain the programs, services, and opportunities that make our schools strong. I encourage you to make your voice heard; please remember to vote and ensure you're registered to do so.
Thank you for being the heart of our district. Together, we'll make 2026 a wonderful year for our students and community.
With appreciation and optimism,
Shannon Leatherwood
