Dolphin Dispatch #11A

Hello, Naples Bayside Families!

What a wonderful show of unity we had on Wednesday! Thank you to all the families who joined us for our CommUNITY Walk and to everyone who wore orange in support of kindness, inclusion, and bullying prevention. It was a beautiful reminder that we all play a part in creating a school community where every child feels safe, valued, and included. When we teach children to stand up for others, show empathy, and speak up when something isn't right, we help prevent bullying before it begins.

As we head into the final week of October, I'd also like to ask families to recommit to strong morning routines and on-time arrival. We've noticed a slight increase in tardiness recently, and every minute of learning matters! A calm, predictable morning routine at home helps children arrive ready to learn and sets a positive tone for their day. Thank you for making attendance and punctuality a family priority.

We have some Halloween fun to look forward to on Friday, October 30th! Our PTA has been busy planning the No-Carve Pumpkin Decorating Contest and Monster Bash Dance Party. Student may also wear a Halloween themed shirt. I'm looking forward to seeing our Dolphins enjoy these special activities together!

And speaking of Halloween, scroll down and take this week's Dolphin Family Poll! We want to know whether your family prefers Halloween to be spooky or sweet, and what fun costumes your children will be wearing on Saturday. The poll closes Wednesday evening, so be sure to share your family's Halloween spirit!

Finally, our PTA is gearing up for the upcoming Color Run/Jog-a-Thon, and there are wonderful opportunities for families and local businesses to show their support! Please consider becoming a Color Run T-shirt sponsor or sharing the sponsorship opportunity with a business you know. It's a great way to support our students, celebrate our school community, and help our PTA continue providing enriching experiences for all our Dolphins. Every contribution makes a difference!

Warmly,
Mrs. Damon

It can include your family traditions, holidays you celebrate, your school, your neighborhood, your nationality, the food you eat, or the people and experiences that are important to you.

Whether you connect with one culture, many cultures, or a unique blend of experiences, we want to see what makes YOU special! 💙

✨ Express yourself through art, photography, music, dance, literature, or film. Every student has a story worth sharing!
