Principal's Message Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Thank you for another fun and successful Mustang March! While the weather was a bit chilly, our Mustangs brought plenty of spirit to warm things up.

A huge thank you to our MOQ Home and School Association, Mustang March Chairs Danielle Selzle and Jenny Dillingham, and our tireless volunteers for making this year’s event a “glowing” success! Special thanks to our Master of Ceremonies, Izzy K. and Grand Marshal, Della B.—fantastic job!

We also extend our gratitude to the MOQ Ladies Guild for hosting the Parent Coffee, as well as the many parish organizations and community groups that cheered on our marchers along the route. Additionally, we want to thank our generous sponsors and everyone who donated. Thanks to the overwhelming support across our parish community, we exceeded our $40,000 goal!

On Wednesday, first quarter report cards will be emailed to parents. We look forward to connecting with you during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday. This is a vital moment to celebrate your student's first-quarter progress, reflect on their individual growth, and set intentional goals for the next nine weeks.

October has been an inspiring month as our staff and students continue to pray the Rosary together. Our Houses have done a beautiful job leading us in this prayerful tradition, reminding us once more of how we can find God’s presence in our daily routines.

Thank you for your continuous partnership, enthusiasm, and support of Mary Our Queen School.

Go Mustangs!

Please join 7th and 8th Grade House of Roosevelt students in honoring the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the military at our Veterans Day Assembly on Wednesday, November 11 at 2:15 PM in the MOQ Church. This special event is an opportunity for our school community to come together to express our deep gratitude for the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms.

This year’s assembly will feature Mr. Kerry Stull as our speaker. Mr. Stull served in the United States Air Force from 2002-2006. He was assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing as a B52 Egress Mechanic. His primary base was Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. He was deployed several times, including service in Germany, Ireland, Kuwait, and the longest one being in Diego Garcia. During Mr. Stull's time in service, he supported Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

A reception will follow the assembly, where guests can enjoy refreshments and fellowship. We encourage families to share photos of loved ones who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces. These photos will be displayed during the assembly as part of a tribute to our heroes. Please submit your photos HERE.

October Rosary Rally for Vocations October Rosary Rally for Vocations

User uploaded image
zoom_out_map

The fourth annual Rosary Rally for Vocations has begun. Throughout October, the Archdiocese of Omaha Vocations Office invites you to pray the rosary for our seminarians and for all those discerning the priesthood and religious life, asking for Our Lady's intercession.

How to join the Rosary Rally:

  1. Pray the rosary for vocations, on your own, with your family, or with a group.

  2. Log your rosaries at omahavocations.org/rosary-rally. The rosary counter updates in real time after you submit, so you can see how many rosaries we're praying together.

  3. You can log rosaries as often as you like throughout the month. If you'd rather not use the online form, you can also email rosary@archomaha.org.

Pray with your parish, your school, or your small group, or gather your family for a rosary night. If you'd like to pray along with others, Spirit Catholic Radio, (102.7) prays the rosary daily at 10 a.m.
