Davis School Family STEM Night! (New)
Dear Families,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming STEM Night on Thursday, March 13th from 5:30-7:00 pm. This event is designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Whether your child is a budding scientist, engineer, or simply loves to explore, there will be something for everyone to enjoy! It's a fun evening full of hands-on, interactive and sometimes messy learning activities and challenges.
Please register here so we can make sure that we have enough materials for all students.
We are also asking for your recycling to assist in some of the STEM night challenges. We would love your cardboard toilet paper and paper towel rolls, washed and empty yogurt cups and other small containers. Please send them in with your child in a bag labeled “STEM Night” and we will collect them from classrooms.
Thank you! We hope to see you there!

News from PE Department
Dear Davis Families,
For the ninth year, we will be doing the Kids Heart Challenge at Davis School. This program is in collaboration with the American Heart Association and coincides with our January health lesson on the heart and related fitness activities.
During the length of the program, (The kickoff week will occur January 27th-31st and will conclude, with online donations needing to be completed by Friday, March 7th) all Davis students are welcome to collect donations from family/friends. Participation in the program is completely voluntary, and all donations will be made online only through the website. All donations collected will go directly to the American Heart Association. In return, at the conclusion of the program, any student who collected donations will receive American Heart Association thank you gifts.
Finn, now a fourth grader, was born with a special heart and has been working hard to help raise awareness and support for kids with special hearts just like him. Finn’s Mission challenges students and families to move more, be kind, help others, and learn the critical life saving skill of Hands-Only CPR!
Just follow these easy steps below to get started:
1. Register with our school: http://www2.heart.org/goto/LtEleazerDavisSchool
2. Complete Finn’s Mission: Here is more information to understand what is Finn`s mission and how to complete it. https://vimeo.com/1037554184/277fec167f?ts=0&share=copy ; https://www2.heart.org/site/DocServer/KHC_Parent_Letter_ENG.pdf

Please watch this video of our own heart heroes, right here in Bedford.
Last year, due to our students’ hard work, we raised over $19,000 which assisted the American Heart Association with their research in curing various ailments of the heart!
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to Mr. Ientile (dean_ientile@bedfordps.org)
We feel this is a great opportunity to show our Davis students how we can help people in need who live outside our own Bedford community.
Thank you in advance for your support!
