The Future Teachers Club members, accompanied by their advisor Mrs. Chopra, attended a field trip to Buffalo State University on March 18, 2026, to explore careers in education. The day-long event that included a program tabling session where students learned about teacher preparation programs and extracurricular opportunities offered at the university. After a welcome session by the University President, students attended a panel presentation featuring current teacher candidates and early-career teachers, who shared insights about becoming an educator, college life, and classroom experiences. Students enjoyed a complimentary, all-you-can-eat lunch at the campus dining hall before participating in a campus tour, where they explored key areas of the university. Overall, the event gave students a firsthand look at college life and the pathway to becoming a teacher.
