Wow! What a weekend for our very talented Gators!
Glenview RoboGators earned the Rising All-Star Award at the John Deere Lego League Competition - Nice Work RoboGators!
AND...
The Gator Guild presented Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to a packed crowd on Friday night. The show was FANTASTIC - the cast, crew, and directors should be very proud!
- Due to the weather and water main break both Saturday and Sunday shows were cancelled. If you missed it on Friday night - you are in luck! There will be TWO ENCORE shows this Friday and Saturday at 6:30pm. See you there!`

EMSD has made the decision that we will use "old fashioned" snow days if we do have inclement weather this winter. We are not ruling out using E-Learning Days for an extended storm or cold snap, but our intention is to use a regular snow day and make it up at the end of the school year should it be needed. Students will not be required to complete any work if a snow day is issued, and they will be able to enjoy the weather safely from inside their homes (or out in the snow!). ☃️ ☃️ ☃️

The Glenview Band
The Band department is using 8th grade mentors to teach beginners how to play. Soon the 8th graders will replace Mr. Brown. 🙂

The Mariachi students have been busy this fall with several performances. The beginning Mariachi students will have their first performance at our concert on December 19th at 7pm in the Glenview South gym! The Intermediate and Advanced Mariachi continue to strive for excellence by learning difficult music and advanced techniques. An example of one of these advanced techniques… walking, playing and singing at the same time (1st time ever) in the Dia de los Muertos parade!
