Assessment Testing Dates
Closed Campus
Closed Campus
As a result of state and district testing - SGE will no longer allow guests to eat in the cafeteria after Thursday, April 2nd, 2026.
The closed campus lunch will occur from April 6, 2026 - May 29, 2026
How can you help?
- Ensure your child is in attendance during their assigned testing days. Students are not permitted to start the assessment and then be called for an early dismissal. State assessments can take up to the length of school day (with time set aside for breaks, lunch, and recess).
- During April and May, it is important that students arrive to school prior to 8:25. Even if your child's grade level isn't testing, we want to keep the hallways and classroom free from distractions.
- Students should have headphones with their laptop at school. Double check with your child to confirm that he/she has them and are in working order. Bluetooth, wireless headphones and mouse are prohibited.
- If laptops go home nightly, ensure they are powered down correctly and charged. Laptop case, laptop, charger, headphones, and a mouse (optional - must be wired) are packed up and ready to go back to school daily.
- The following items are prohibited from being in the testing classroom: cell phones, smart watches, smart glasses.
