Family Literacy
Reading out loud is an essential practice that strengthens comprehension, builds confidence, and brings stories to life. When readers vocalize words, they engage multiple senses—seeing, hearing, and speaking—which helps improve pronunciation, fluency, and understanding. Reading aloud also encourages active listening and deeper connections with the text, whether shared between a parent and child, teacher and student, or among peers. It creates moments of interaction, sparks discussion, and fosters a love for language and storytelling. Ultimately, reading out loud nurtures both literacy skills and meaningful human connection.
