Titan Times

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome back to Syracuse High School! We are excited for a year filled with learning, growth, and Titan pride. Below are the important details for our first week of school:

• 10th Grade (Sophomores): Arrive at 7:30 AM for Sophomore Orientation.

• 11th & 12th Grade (Juniors & Seniors): Late Start – Arrive at 9:30 AM.

• We will follow our regular late start schedule on this day

• Pictures will be taken during English classes.

• Regular Bell Schedule

• Pictures will be taken during English classes.

• Wednesday will also be on our standard late start bell schedule.

• Location: Football Field

• Theme: Unity & School Spirit – led by our amazing Student Officers.

• We will be on a single assembly schedule so our entire student body can sit together as one Titan family.

Syracuse High School will be cellphone-free during instructional time. This means:

• Phones must be put away from the moment the first bell rings at the start of class until the bell rings to end class.

• Students will be able to use phones before and after school, during passing periods, and lunch.

• This applies in every class, every day.

We know this might take some adjustment after summer break, but our priority is learning from bell to bell. Let’s keep our focus where it matters most—on growing, achieving, and supporting one another.

You can join PTSA easily through mydsd. Under the optional fees tab, scroll down to the bottom and hit the link that says Join PTA. It will take you to the givebacks website to fill out your information and pay the dues. This is super helpful to our organization! You can also fill out a form and pay cash to the school office.
