Carnival-Volunteer & Donation Opportunities Friday, May 16th

We are just two weeks away from the highly anticipated Eastview Carnival! Below are some exciting ways you can contribute to this fantastic event. Whether you choose to volunteer your time or donate raffle items and materials, every bit of support makes a significant difference in creating a memorable experience for our students. Thank you for your generosity and involvement!

Volunteering: This year, we are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help run games and activities, as well as supervise classes during the event. Please consider signing up for one or more time slots. The more volunteers we have on board, the smoother and more enjoyable the experience will be for everyone involved. Your support is greatly appreciated! Click Here to Sign Up

Raffle Donations: This year, instead of large grade baskets, we are inviting our Eastview community to contribute smaller raffle items, allowing for more students to win exciting prizes. Over the next two weeks, each student will receive five raffle tickets and can earn additional tickets through positive behavior initiatives. To maximize the number of winners, once a student has won a prize, they will be exempt from winning additional prizes.

If you have new toys or games that you would like to donate, we would be thrilled to include them as raffle prizes for our students. Alternatively, you can support us by purchasing items from our curated Amazon Wishlist. Donations can be conveniently dropped off in the bin located in the front lobby at Eastview. Thank you for your generosity in making this event special for our student! Click Here to Access Wishlist

If you have any questions or concerns about Carnival, please do not hesitate to reach out to Courtney Treadway (cltreadway@gmail.com) or Kristy Lazowski (kmlazowski@gmail.com).

We are looking forward to a wonderful day celebrating a successful school year.

Thank you,

Eastview PTA

Back To School Forms

Over the summer months you will receive an email notifying you to complete your student's back-to-school forms via your PowerSchool Parent Account. All forms are to be completed prior to the first day of school. This is a one-stop shop for updating your child’s emergency and medical information as well as signing off on the annual permission forms for school district policies.

If you have more than one child in the school system, you only need one PowerSchool Parent Account.

All of your children, regardless of building attendance, are to be added to your one account BEFORE you start completing the back-to-school forms.

If you have any questions about your PowerSchool Parent Account, please contact:

  • Maria Szarek - (440) 933-4829 or
  • Theresa Martin - (440) 933-0984

Early Release Day May 6

This is just a reminder that the district will have an early release day on Tuesday, May 6. Students will start their day at the normal time but will be dismissed from the elementary buildings at noon that day. Dismissal will be the same procedures that we always use, just at noon, instead of 3:20 pm.

All students will eat their lunches in their classrooms on Early Release Day. Lunch will start at 11:25 am and end at 11:50 am. Students will have an opportunity to pack or buy their lunches just like normal. There will be no extras offered on the early release day. If your child wants to buy that day, there will only be one lunch option for the day.

The lunch option for that day will be:

Chips

Salsa

Cheese cup

Apple slices

Milk

Recess Refresh: If you haven’t heard the news from the playground on Thursday, we are so excited that the first large purchase of our Recess Refresh has been installed. Students came back from the surprise day off to new swings on the playground! And we were lucky enough that the rain held off and all classes were able to enjoy the swings during recess. We’re looking forward to more pieces coming this month. We have also been able to significantly update our indoor recess cart with new games and craft items. We want to thank families again for their generous donations during our Cupid Shuffle to help make this Recess Refresh possible!

Spring Flower Pick up and Delivery: We are still in need of lots of help with our Spring Flower Sale pick up and delivery! Please sign up for a few hours on May 17. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C48AEAA23A0FC1-56539365-spring?fbclid=IwY2xjawJ9G_FleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFiaXM0bktvV2VGNzBvV0tGAR4o3GkNyFTQHZBmrSTmm495HgGgmvlI14mVqJES4pA4tQpNVVpAyTfgvwg1pw_aem_w_eI2eUDNe2NRvWpM1Iqgw#/
