Week of June 2-6
Hello Barrett Families!
It's hard to believe that we are already moving into the month of June! As we wrap up the 2024-2025 school year, please be sure to check your child's folder for important information regarding classroom activities and end of year information. As a reminder, we have NO SCHOOL on the following days: June 5, 12 and 19th. Our end of year ceremonies are being held on June 13th. The ceremonies will begin promptly at 10:15 and 2:00. Individual classroom teachers will be reaching out to families regarding what they will be doing for their celebration. If families are late, you may miss most if not all of the activities, so please plan to be on time! You may dismiss your child after the ceremonies are over.
We celebrated Mr. Tony our beloved custodian on Friday with a small ceremony and dedicated our flagpole to him in his honor. The last Friday of every May will forever be known as "Mr. Tony Day" where we will wear red, white and blue each year and do a small in school celebration for him.
Ms. Sarah brought her goats and bunnies for our students and staff to enjoy on Friday!! Thank you Ms. Sarah for sharing your furry friends with our school community and bringing smiles to the students' faces!! More photos will be coming in next week's newsletter.

News from 207
The students are exploring the life cycle of a butterfly. They are listening to the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and have the opportunity to observe our classroom caterpillars as they transform from caterpillars to chrysalises and eventually into butterflies. In the photos, the students are engaged in listening to the book, observing the caterpillars in their chrysalises, and completing a worksheet about the stages of the butterfly life cycle. They are thoroughly enjoying watching the caterpillars progress through each stage and are excited to see them become beautiful butterflies.
