Good evening,
It was so nice seeing and celebrating all of our Student of the Month winners today! We are so proud of them and all of their hard work!
Please take a look below for some important information and updates from our Home & School Association. Also, please consider volunteering to help with our upcoming Costume Bingo Night. We appreciate all of the support from our families in making these events possible!
As always, thank you for your continued support of Garrettford, and have a great rest of your week!

Message from the Nurse
A Message from the School Nurse
Yellow Emergency Forms – Please Return by Friday!
If you have not yet submitted your child’s yellow emergency card, please send it to school by Friday. These forms are very important because they also give the school permission to provide care to your child in the nurse’s office when needed.
If you need a new emergency card, please reach out to the nurse and we will be happy to provide one.
Please get those forms to us ASAP!
Dental Forms – Kindergarten, 1st & 3rd Grade
The state of Pennsylvania requires dental forms for students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade.
If your child is missing a dental form on file, a Kid Smiles consent form was sent home last week. Please complete and return the consent form by October 12, 2026.
With your permission, Kid Smiles will provide a free, quick dental screening at school. A dental hygienist will take a quick look at your child’s teeth and let you know if they see any concerns. This screening will count as the required dental form for the school year.
Your child will also receive a free toothbrush, and you will receive a report about what was seen during the screening.
Consent is required, so please return the Kid Smiles form by October 12th.
Thank you for helping us keep your children healthy, safe, and ready to learn!
