Instructional Time
This week, next week, and the week of November 18 are full, uninterrupted weeks of learning before Thanksgiving (does next week even count with Halloween? 😅). Let's make the most of it! Our other weeks leading up to Thanksgiving have half days or holidays so it's tricker to get in the groove. Therefore, let's do everything we can to make every instructional minute count! Woo!
Central Office In Classrooms
As stated in the October 7 EduGATOR, members of the Central Office Admin Team will be popping into classrooms to see the instructional vision in action. This is to be curious and supportive about instruction at all levels. Many members of the leadership team are also getting coaching from the Lynch Leadership Academy out of Boston College or mentored by the Collaborative for Educational Services. There may be times our coach/mentor accompanies us on these visits. This is not to be evaluative--we are excited to see how the instructional vision is playing out across the district.
Free admissions to Mystic!
Matt Bonenfant recently went to Mystic and discovered that admission is free for educators (reserve online, need to bring MTA card or ID at the gate). We wanted to pass this along to all in case anyone is planning a trip :) Thanks, Matt!
