Cell Phone Policy
In order to create the best possible environment for focus, learning, and personal growth, cell
phone use will not be allowed during the school day. Students will be required to store their
phones in their lockers. This includes Ipads, MacBooks, etc. Students will be required to use school issued devices. All students will be issued a school chromebook for their use during the school year. They will also receive a locker already equipped with a lock to ensure the safety of their belongings during the school day. If a student is found with any of these items, they will be confiscated by security and only returned to a parent/guardian. This decision is rooted in our belief that our students deserve a distraction-free environment where they can fully engage with their teachers, classmates, and learning. We appreciate your support in reinforcing this policy at home.

Please be mindful of your students absences and tardies as they do generate attendance points unless they are excused. Students lose credit in full year classes after accumulating 10 attendance points and in semester classes after accumulating 5 attendance points.

Driving To School: Here Is What You Need To Know
Driving To School: Here Is What You Need To Know
Any student driving to school is required to register their vehicles with the security office. Students will be issued a parking permit, after the following are completed:

- The student must provide a copy of current motor vehicle registration.
- The student must show proof that the vehicle is covered by insurance. (Proof of insurance must be in the form of a “Certificate of Insurance” which may be obtained at no cost from the insurance agent.)
Students whose applications to drive are approved will be issued numbered parking stickers which must be placed on the lower, right-hand, interior of the front windshield with the number visible from the outside.
Students who are issued these stickers must:
- Park in the student parking lot
- Proceed directly from their cars to school upon arrival
- Operate their vehicles with caution in the parking lot and while entering or leaving school grounds
- Abide by the 15 MPH speed limit on school grounds

- Do NOT park cars diagonally across several parking spaces
- Do NOT go to a parked car or to the parking lot during the school day for any reason without written permission from an administrator
- Do NOT leave school grounds during the school day, unless approved by administration. Leaving school grounds without permission during the school day is a suspendable offense.
Medical Compliance
All incoming juniors must have a current physical on file with the nurses office. Those students who are not compliant should have received notification in the mail. Please make sure to have your physical prior to the first day of school and submit it to the nurses office.
All student-athletes will also need an updated physical on file in order to participate in athletics. If you are a student-athlete, a physical will need to be turned into the nurse's office each year.
