Message for the Week:
Message from Mr. Tejkl
Oh my, it is great to be back...
Good morning!
There is nothing like a full week of school to get the system going! It just feels right to have everyone back in our building and seeing the magic that happens within our building! We have many superheros, big and small, that continue to come together to create what our culture is. It takes all of us to create what we want today, tomorrow, and beyond!
We will have many great days that will be filled with learning, laughing, memories, and the overcoming of adversity. The adversity part is inevitable but the relationships that we build along our journey is what helps us over come those low moments in our path. Trusting the person next to you goes a long way and it can be a big leap of faith because you hope that trust isn't broken along the way.
Whether it is trusting your colleague, trusting another peer, or just trusting that the district is doing our best to make the best environment possible for all; it takes effective communication. As Aman stated in Medium website, "There are three sides to every story; yours, theirs, and the truth." We all want what is best for our children and for each other. When events happen, we must remember to communicate with each other; even if those conversations can be hard/difficult. This communication continues to help us build trust, build our relationships stronger, and create the best culture we want for all.
Challenge this week: Go tell that one person (or multiple) how much you appreciate their communication and the trust you have in them!
Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you tomorrow!
Quote of the week to reflect on:
"Trust is the glue of life. It is the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships."
Stephen R. Covey
Sincerely,
Tucker Tejkl
