"Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow!"
ONE PRIDE. ONE PURPOSE.
π£ Moye Families β Every Day Counts! ππΎ
Every dayβand every minuteβat school matters! Our campus attendance goal is 95%, and we need your partnership to help our students be at school, on time, and here for the full school day.
β οΈ Did you know about the 90% Rule?
Texas law requires students to attend at least 90% of the days a class is offered in order to receive credit or a final grade for that class. This requirement can apply even when absences are excused.
That means frequent absences, late arrivals, and leaving school early can add up to valuable instructional time missed.
β€οΈ Right Here. Right Now.
Showing up means more than being marked present. It means being right here, right now for the learning, friendships, celebrations, and experiences that make the school years successful and unforgettable.
π And we want to celebrate great attendance! Throughout the school year, we will continue to have monthly attendance incentives that our students can participate in. Each month will bring another opportunity for students to be recognized and enjoy something special for making attendance a priority!
Help us build strong attendance habits:
β° On time.
π« Every day.
π All day.
Together, letβs reach 95% attendance, celebrate our students, and make every day count! πͺπ πΎ

π Learning & Growth at Moye STEM Academy
πΎ Our Academic Goals for Every Moye Student
At Moye STEM Academy, we are focused on building strong foundations in the early grades and continuing that growth all the way through 5th grade.
π Kinderβ2nd Grade | Building Strong Readers
Strong readers start with strong foundations! Our Kβ2 students will receive daily small-group reading instruction based on their individual needs and progress. We will closely monitor their growth throughout the year to make sure they are developing the skills they need to be successful readers.
π£οΈ English Language Growth | Kinderβ5th Grade
For our students learning English, our goal is for every child to grow in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. These skills will be intentionally practiced throughout the school day, with an especially strong focus in the early grades.
β Grades 3β5 | STAAR Success
Our goal is to move every student toward Meets and Masters on STAAR. Teachers will provide strong daily instruction, targeted support when students need it, and closely monitor progress throughout the year.
β€οΈ Families are an important part of this work!
Read with your child, ask about what they are learning, practice skills at home, and celebrate their progress.
Stronger Instruction. Better Outcomes. Every Student. πΎ
πΎ What You Can Expect in Every Moye Classroom
Every minute of instruction matters. When your child walks into a classroom at Moye STEM Academy, you can expect learning to be purposeful, engaging, and focused on student growth.
π― Clear Learning Goals β Students should know what they are learning and what success looks like.
πββοΈ Active Learning β Students won't just sit and listen. They will think, talk, write, solve, create, and actively participate in their learning.
𧩠Support for Every Learner β Teachers will adjust instruction and provide additional support or challenge based on what each student needs.
π Checking for Understanding β Teachers will continuously check student learning during lessons so they can respond when students need additional help or are ready to move forward.
π Students Knowing Their Growth β Students will track their own progress and have one-on-one conversations with their teachers about their goals, growth, and next steps.
Most importantly, the work students complete each day should have a clear purpose and move them closer to mastering what they are learning.
Our instructional time is valuable, and we are committed to making every minute count.
Stronger Instruction. Better Outcomes. Every Student. πΎ
π’ Information for Moye Families: Proposed EPISD Bond
Moye families, EPISD has shared information regarding the proposed Bond, and we encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more about what is being proposed and what it could mean for Moye STEM Academy. β€οΈπ The district has created a website where families can find bond information, proposed projects, campus-specific information, FAQs, voter resources, and short videos explaining the proposal and its potential tax impact. π Learn more: We are also sharing Moyeβs campus information sheet, which outlines the proposed improvements for our school and what a bond with no increase in the tax rate could provide for our campus. We encourage our families to review the information, learn about the proposal, and stay informed as we get closer to the election.π
