News From the Ranch
March 22, 2026, Vol. 1, Issue 31
Dear TRE Family,
Thank you to all of our TRE families who joined in our 30 Year Anniversary and Celebration of Learning Open House. We are grateful to have the opportunity to serve this amazing community and our TRE students. Walking into each classroom, it was pure joy and excitement, watching our students tell their families about their work and learning across the classroom. As a school, students also had the opportunity to parade/snake through every classroom on Friday to see and celebrate the learning in every classroom. What a wonderful week at TRE!
We have one more week of learning until Spring Break. Students and staff will be on Spring Break the week of March 30-April 3. It's hard to believe that we only have two months of school remaining for the 2025-2026 school year.
As we wrap up this school year, our PTA is in search of new PTA Exec Board positions. We have a great team that is continuing, but we have multiple open positions. Without these positions, we will be unable to provide the awesome learning experiences such as music for our primary students, Meet the Masters art lessons, field trip travel, and family nights. Please consider supporting TRE in this capacity. More details below.

LCAP
Dear TUSD Families,
At Tustin Unified, we value your voice! Your input is essential as we set goals and actions for the 2026-27 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
The Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) guides how California distributes state funding to school districts, ensuring resources support both core and supplemental programs. The LCAP serves as a vital tool for transparency and community engagement in this process. You can explore the current Board Approved 2025-26 LCAP on our district website.
As we plan for the upcoming 2026-27 school year, we want to hear from you! Your feedback will help shape district priorities and guide updates to our LCAP. Please take a few moments to complete the 2026-27 LCAP Survey and share what matters most in your child’s education. The LCAP Survey was sent via Parent Square to all families.
We encourage all families to participate by April 11, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact the Educational Services Department.
With appreciation,
Stephanie Yang, Ed.D.
Director of Educational Services
Tustin Unified School District
