IDVA Attendance Requirements
- Log into the online school and courses each school day.
- Read, study, learn, and complete each lesson assigned each school day.
- Attend and participate in required daily Class Connect sessions.
Idaho Virtual Academy (IDVA) is a public school and requires consistent daily attendance, Monday through Friday.
IDVA follows specific Idaho codes and is accountable to the state. We are a public-school alternative rather than a homeschool alternative.
Why Is Daily Attendance important?
Attendance is one of the biggest indicators of school success.
There are many benefits to consistent daily attendance. Some benefits of regular attendance:
- promotes proficiency in a variety of skills,
- improves positive interactions with others,
- enhances the building blocks to prepare students for the future,
- encourages the development of skills that allow students to succeed now, in college, and beyond.
