MTSS Lead Weekly Updates

Students in K-6 will complete the following between August 11-29:​

• iReady Reading Diagnostic​
• iReady Math Diagnostic​
• Grade appropriate Fall Literacy Tasks (refer to Minimum Matrix iReady Suite (K-3 or 4-8)​
• Fall Written Expression​

​All students in K-8 should complete the iReady Reading and Math Diagnostic to capture baseline data and create personalized instruction pathways.​

Students in grades 9-12 who are enrolled in intervention courses should complete the iReady Reading and/or Math Diagnostic(s) based on intervention plan.

The lockdown browser should be on all district owned devices. It can be downloaded from the Company Portal if it is not on the device following any pending updates.

• Enter ALL Literacy Tasks completed on paper into iReady by 5:00 p.m. 8/29/25. If you need to verify Literacy Task entry, please pull down the report in iReady by following these steps which are slightly adjusted from previous years due to the iReady platform update. Log into iReady>Reports>Class>Literacy Task Name>Class as named in PowerSchool.
• Enter Written Expression scores for Fall 2025 in the Written Expression PowerApp by 11:59 p.m. 8/29/25. The link is found on the home page of the On Target for Success SharePoint and accessible to the MTSS Lead only.
• Retest students with Red Rush Flags as the student moved through the test extremely fast. It is also recommended to retest Yellow Rush Flags because the student moved fast at some points and the overall score may be lower than their actual abilities. Retests must occur by 4:00 p.m. 8/29/25.

Lockdown browser not being installed on our devices generated a multitude of errors. It must be installed on the device to complete the Diagnostic. i-Ready Secure LockDown Browser Info (08.04.2025).pdf MSCS IT confirms it is available in the Company Portal and once installed on the device is operable.

If you get this pop-up when attempting to login to iReady, click the box next to the statement Always allow login i-Ready.com to open links of this type in the associated app and then select Open. The example is below.

There are Online Educator Learning options within the iReady platform that are asynchronous and available to start at anytime. Credit is awarded in PLZ monthly for courses 1 hour or more.

Please use the last day for students May 21, 2026 for the end date for progress monitoring.

Please remember that the national Norms for Early Literacy Measures have been updated in the Pearson aimswebPlus platform. Please refer to these norms when discussing student progress. Educators should discard the 2023-24 aimswebPlus norms table found in the appendix of the DIG. These norms have been updated in PowerBi as well.

Please ensure that student Tier 2 or 3 plans have been reactivated by August 29 and are then updated with intervention notes and appropriate frequency of intervention. If there are questions, please submit an MSCS Office Hours request and I will walk you through the process as you click. Remember that the PowerBI RTI Dashboard will begin pulling student plan information for this school year on Tuesday, September 2.
