Hello! My name is Ashlee Light, and I will be the new school counselor for grades 2-6th. For the past 4 years, I have been working as a Behavior Support Specialist in the elementary division at Milton Hershey School. For four years before that, I worked in the athletic department at the middle division. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor's in Social Work and from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Social Work.

I grew up in Elizabethtown but have lived in 2 other states (Washington & Virginia) before settling back here in PA. I now live in Annville with my husband, 12-year-old son, and 2 mini Bernedoodles. I enjoy running, baking, reading, and spending time with my family. I am so excited to join the ACSD community and participate in the great things that are happening here!

We have a number of amazing presenters lined up to present during Career Day at AE. Among these presenters will be officers from the Pennsylvania State Police. They will be bringing a helicopter for students to see and learn about, landing it in the field behind the school. The helicopter will be present on March 18 th from around 8:30-11:30. We look forward to this awesome experience for our students!

A-C uses the SNAP Health Portal to record visits to each nurse's office. This will report all information about the reason for the visit, vitals taken, and treatment provided. Please make sure that you know how to access this information by following the directions included in the attachment below.

A-C's Elementary PTO is selling yearbooks for the 2025-2026 school year! Please use the information found below to order one for your child. Please note: the PTO purchases a yearbook for each sixth-grade student as a memory of their elementary career - there is no need to order for these students.

The School Board has recently approved the calendar below for the 26-27 school year. The calendar can also be found on the district website by clicking the District Information menu.

Every three years, Pennsylvania school districts are required to submit a Future Ready Comprehensive Plan to PDE to ensure that all students are achieving at high levels. The Annville-Cleona School District’s comprehensive plan for the next three years (2026-2029) is due March 31, 2026. The comprehensive planning committee, made up of administrators, board members, students, staff, parents, and community/business members, met on the following dates:

• November 17th: Vision and Mission

• December 10th: District and Building Level Data Review and Needs Assessment

• January 20th: Goal Setting and Action Planning

The PA Department of Education requires the district-level Comprehensive Plan and the related state-required reports to be available for public review and comment for 28 days. The draft plan was posted to the district website on February 10, 2026. The plan will be presented to the Board of Directors for approval on March 9, 2026, so that it can be submitted to PDE by March 31, 2026.

The Annville-Cleona Youth Soccer Club soccer registration is open for the Spring 2026 season. The club accepts registrations for players age 4 as of March 31, 2026 through U18 (birth year 2008). The AC Youth Soccer Club plays recreational soccer in the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League for children in the U10-U18 age groups. An in-house intramural program for our U5-U6 (Micros) is offered and a hybrid intramural program is offered for U8s that play some local clubs midway through the season. Our next PTO meeting is on March 26th at 5 pm at Annville Elementary. The meeting time will be extended due to a scheduled presentation by Boosterthon, a possible future fundraiser platform.
