TALON TALK

Welcome Back, Reynolds Families!
We're getting close to the start of the 2025-26 school year, and we're really excited about what's ahead! Our teachers have been working hard since Monday to prepare their classrooms and are looking forward to welcoming your children back on campus and getting to know them.
We wanted to let you know about our policy in regards to schedule changes this year. We've found that keeping schedules stable during the first six weeks helps students settle into their routines and gives everyone time to adjust. During this period, we won't make schedule changes unless there's a scheduling error—like your child being placed in the wrong grade level, or missing a required class.
After the six-week period, we'll consider changes for leveling up or down in core subjects—English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. These decisions will be based on student performance and teacher recommendations to make sure each child is appropriately challenged. This approach works well because it gives teachers time to build relationships with their students and allows kids to get comfortable before any changes are made.
A big thank you to the hardworking Pogue construction team! Thanks to their dedication and progress, we’re excited to offer a full Schedule Walk tonight! We can’t wait to welcome our students and families to explore their new schedules on our campus in person!

Reynolds School Lunch
To support our incoming 6th graders as they transition from elementary to middle school, Prosper ISD's Child Nutrition Department has created a helpful guide to explain the secondary meal options available. We know families often have questions about lunch offerings, so this resource aims to make things easier and clearer for everyone. This resource has also been emailed to families via MySchoolBucks for easy access. Additionally, Aramark managers will be on-site during the schedule walk to answer any questions your student or you may have. Please feel free to reach out to feel free to reach out to the Child Nutrition team at child-nutrition@prosper-isd.net for further questions!
Prosper ISD RevTrack System
RevTrak is an online payment center hosted as a Web Store, offering a convenient way for guardians to pay for chromebooks, field trips, and special organizations that require a membership fee.
Prosper ISD will be utilizing this system for all other systems of payment besides lunches. Prosper will continue to use MySchoolBucks for adding funds to lunch accounts.
