During the June meeting we will be focusing on potential board positions as well as planning for early fall events The committee will also meet again in August to help plan and prepare so events and opportunities can get started right away when school begins this fall.

We still have openings for the Aspen Ridge Safety Patrol for the 2026-2027 school year! Safety Patrol is a great opportunity for future 4th and 5th grade students to develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and school pride while helping keep our school community safe during arrival and dismissal. We are seeking 32 patrol members who will serve on a weekly rotating schedule, with required training taking place on August 18 from 1:00–3:00 PM.

We encourage all interested students to apply and be part of this important leadership opportunity!

As we continue preparing for the opening of Aspen Ridge, we want to share an update regarding school supplies for the 2026–2027 school year. Earlier this spring, we had planned to implement a flat school supply fee that would allow the school to purchase and provide all student materials. While we were excited about the opportunities this model offered for shared resources and collaborative learning environments, we are no longer able to move forward with that approach at this time. Instead, families will now be asked to purchase school supplies individually using the grade-level supply lists below. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate the many details involved in opening a new school, and we remain committed to creating a supportive, engaging, and community-centered learning experience for all of our students.

Please plan to bring your child's supplies to the Open House on Wednesday, September 2nd.

We are excited to share that construction at Aspen Ridge is continuing to make great progress. Each week, more areas of the building are taking shape, and it is exciting to see our new school come to life. We are continuing to work closely with the construction team to ensure the building is ready for students and staff. Below you can see some of the progress on both inside and outside of the school. Watch for more updates to come!
