The Pine Connection

Hi everyone! 🧡🖤 THANK YOU ALL for a great start to the year!! The first two days were great - let's keep the momentum going as we move into our first full week with students! Just wanted to share a few quick reminders and updates for this week:

📚 Aimsweb Benchmarking

Aimsweb Benchmarking will take place Monday and Tuesday in the Media Center.

• Monday & Tuesday: Aimsweb Benchmarking in the Media Center
• Tuesday: Library will take place in classrooms.

🍎 Lunch Reminders

• No snack cards at lunch yet. We’ll let you know when we are ready to begin this routine. It will still be a couple of weeks.
• Please have students bring nothing with them to lunch - no pencils, fidgets, toys, etc. These items are making their way to recess and becoming an issue. Please have students leave them in the classroom.

🧢 Hats

Please remind students that hats should not be worn in the building. Students should put hats in their book bags at arrival and keep them there for the day.

📸 Keep the Pine Pictures Coming!

A reminder to keep adding pictures to our Pine Google Photos album throughout the year!

Please remember:

• Only photograph students who can be photographed.
• Include yourselves, too!

We’re working on a special project with these pictures and will also use them to help tell the Pine story on social media. If there’s a picture you especially want me to see or share, just send me a quick text! This is our last chapter, so let’s keep capturing all the moments that make Pine awesome!! 🧡🖤

🦅 Spirit Wear Reminder

The 2026 Spirit Wear Store is open through August 30 at 11:59 PM. There are new designs and old favorites, with youth sizes through adult 6XL.

Items are expected to arrive in October. This is not a fundraiser, just an opportunity to grab some Eagle gear! 2026 Spirit Wear Store
