Dear Parents and Guardians,

In Middle School, challenges are part of the learning journey—and that’s where a growth mindset comes in! A growth mindset means believing that our abilities can improve with effort, practice, and perseverance. Instead of saying, “I can’t do this,” try adding one small but powerful word: “yet.”

When students embrace this way of thinking, mistakes become opportunities to learn, not reasons to give up. Whether it’s tackling a tricky math problem, writing a challenging essay, or learning a new skill, effort and persistence help our brains grow stronger every day!

Together, we are helping our students discover that growth happens one step, one challenge, and one “yet” at a time.

The MS Student Council would like to send holiday cards to soldiers again this year. Just like the last five years, we would love to send them to former NWR students or family members/friends of people in our own community!

If you know someone who is serving our country and will be away for the holidays, please let Mrs. Pier know and she will add them to the list of people we will send cards to.

All requests can be sent to rpier@northwarren.org

Wall of Good Wall of Good

The Middle School Student Council built a “Wall of Good” where students could celebrate and share the positive things happening in their lives. During Learn, students added Post-it notes to the wall, each one sharing something good that made them smile.
