Letter from Our Principal
Dear LPS Families,
We have had another great week of learning! We appreciate your continued support as we help our students learn, grow, and lead. A huge congratulations to Vithula Karthikeyan! Vithula’s artwork was selected as a winner at the State Fair of Texas in her age category! Her two winning entries are Animal and Any Subject. We are so proud of her creativity and this wonderful accomplishment!
We have noticed an increase in students bringing blankets to school. As a reminder, blankets are not allowed at school for safety reasons. We recognize that our building can feel cold, so please encourage your child to bring a crewneck sweatshirt to stay warm. Please help us reinforce this expectation by making sure blankets stay at home.
We only have four school wake-ups left until Fall Break! Let’s finish this first nine weeks strong, making each day count. Thank you for partnering with us!

This is a one stop shop! You can report your child's absence and upload doctor notes.
REMINDER: If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s attendance, please reach out directly to your child’s teacher via email and copy secondaryattendance@lpsfriso.com. If an attendance record needs to be corrected, the teacher must submit a form to request the change. Please be aware that attendance corrections must be requested within 3 days, so it is important to contact the teacher as soon as possible.

Chick-fil-a ordering is now open for October! Please visit myschoolbucks.com to order. Be sure to select the correct student and day when ordering, CHANGES CANNOT BE MADE. Chick-fil-a will be offered on Mondays 10/5, 10/19 & 10/26 Chick-fil-a will be offered on Thursdays 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 & 10/29. Dillas will be offered on FRIDAY 10/16. Ordering will close on September 23rd.
