Principal Message
Dear Hoover Families,
I want to take a moment to share some personal news with you. Beginning July 1, I will be transitioning into a new role as principal of Monroe Elementary. While I’m excited for this new opportunity, it is certainly bittersweet to say goodbye to the Hoover community that has meant so much to me.
It has been an absolute honor to serve as principal at Hoover. I am deeply grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me, and for the strong partnership we’ve built in support of your children. The sense of care, commitment, and connection that defines our school community is truly special, and it has left a lasting impression on me.
I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together—whether through schoolwide initiatives or the everyday moments that reflect our shared dedication to student growth and well-being. Your support, encouragement, and engagement have played a vital role in creating the positive, student-centered environment that makes Hoover such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
While I will miss seeing you and your children each day, I look forward to continuing to support the MAPS community in this new role. Hoover will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’ll be cheering for this amazing school from just down the road.
Thank you for the privilege of being a part of your child’s educational journey. Serving as your principal has been one of the greatest joys of my career. The search for a new Hoover Principal will begin in May and seek to wrap up in early June.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Mollie Meyer
Elementary Principal
