The BCE Read-a-thon is coming!
What is the Read-a-thon?
The BCE Read-a-thon promotes literacy and raises critical funds for Burlingame TK-8 public schools. Students read, fundraise, and win prizes while involving family and community to support our schools.
When is the Read-a-thon?
This year's Read-a-thon runs from January 27 - 31, 2025!
How do we get started?
If your student participated as a fundraiser last year, their page is still active—just head to the McKinley Read-a-thon page to find it and share with family and friends.
New to the Read-a-thon? No problem! Create a new page on the McKinley Read-a-thon page to get started.
What’s the Goal?
Each student is encouraged to raise $150, which could result in over $500,000 for our schools! The earlier you start, the better your chance of winning prizes!
What is the Early Bird Raffle?
For every $50 raised before the Read-a-thon starts, students earn an entry to win a $50 Gigglemugs gift card! There will be one winner per elementary school and one per grade at BIS, so don’t wait—kick off your fundraising today!
