Dragons' Dish

Dear Allenwood Families,

I want to wish our Allenwood families a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope that you enjoy the holiday with friends and family! Looking ahead, December is always a special time at Allenwood Elementary School. Our halls are filled with excitement as students look forward to the joy and wonder of the holiday season. This month reminds us of the importance of community, kindness, and celebration, and we are delighted to share these moments with you.

I would like to highlight some important events happening over the next few weeks:

- Our annual PTG Holiday Gift Shoppe will run from Wednesday, December 3rd through Friday, December 5th. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to choose thoughtful gifts for family and friends. Thank you to our amazing PTG volunteers who make this tradition possible each year!

- We are excited to share that our 5th grade Heroes and Cool Kids program will begin on Thursday, December 4th. This program provides leadership opportunities for our students and helps them build positive connections with role models from Wall High School. We look forward to seeing our 5th graders shine.

- Please join us for our Winter Concert on Thursday, December 11th, at 7:00 p.m. The performance will be held at Wall Intermediate School. Our students and music staff have been working hard, and we cannot wait to celebrate their talents together.

- Allenwood will celebrate Holiday Spirit Week from December 15th - 19th. Please refer to the flyer below in this newsletter for details.

As we move through this festive season, I want to thank each of you for your continued support, partnership, and care for our school community. I wish all of our families a warm, peaceful, and joyful December.

Sincerely,

James Sterenczak
Principal
