La Vernia Primary families, one of the best things you can do this summer is to get your school supplies early. When you order through 1st Day School Supplies, you are locking in the exact teacher-approved list now. Before the shelves get picked over. Before the August rush begins.

It only takes a few minutes online, and everything arrives in one box, ready for the first day.

Primary will test school wide on Tuesday, May 12 for end of year assessments. Please have your child to school on time, rested, and have them eat a good breakfast.

Our students have been rocking morning announcements! Be sure to ask your students about them this week! Announcements are at 7:20, so don't be late!

May 6- Send in a note or a picture for teacher appreciation

May 7- Gift card or drink for teacher appreciation

May 4-7 ~ Camp "Read A Lot" in the Library. Bring a SMALL flashlight to read with if you'd like.

May ~ Schlitterbahn Waves of Pages Reading Program tickets arrive (delayed from April)

May 12- End of Year Testing

May 14 ~ ALL LIBRARY BOOKS DUE to the Library for Inventory. PREK Field Day

May 21- Kinder, 1st, 2nd grade Field Day

May 28- Last Day of School!

Transportation changes need to be in by 3 pm each day- please notify the classroom teacher AND the front office receptionist at arutledge@lvisd.org. (We ask that you include both people on the email so we have a back up in case someone is absent).
