Kindergarten Counts Information Night
Wednesday, January 22 @ 6:00 to 7:00 PM
Kindergarten Counts will provide parents and guardians an opportunity to hear from the principal and Kindergarten teachers, as well as meet other parents. You will learn about several upcoming opportunities for your child to prepare them for the first day of school.
Each school will be hosted their own Kindergarten Counts event. Plan on attending at your resident school: LOSD School Boundaries Map. Lake Oswego School District welcomes Kindergarteners who will be five years old by September 1.

Welcome New Staff
Since the beginning of the year, we have welcomed a number of new staff members. On the Educational Assistant team, we are joined by Jessica Borg, Shaela Vardhana, Cheryl Koval, Leanna Meier, and Nic Placerese. These individuals provide essential academic, social, and emotional support to students throughout the school. Beginning in January, Emily Couch joins us as the new RTI Coordinator. Ms. Couch comes to use from the Dayton School District and brings experience in building school systems and supporting the needs of all learners.
Forest Hills Science Night
The Forest Hills Science Night is coming up! The event will be held Wednesday, February 26th from 5:30-7:30pm in the school gym, STEM iLab and Library. This year, we are introducing a fun new format where the science projects will be displayed in the gym, Faith Jordan our STEM teacher will be showcasing what the students have been working on in the iLAB and some hands-on science activities will be available in the library. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about a math, science or technology topic of interest to them.
If your student would like to participate by doing a science project, please register your student online here.
Registration opens today and runs through Friday, January 17th. Your student may work in groups of up to 3. A form must be submitted for each student participating, even if working in a group.
