If you ordered a School Supply Kit from PTO, they will be available to be picked up on the day of your Open Building/Schedule Pick-up in the Cafeteria. Any kits not picked up will be held in the front office for pick-up.
Our team is excited about the 2026-27 school year! Our office hours are from 7:30-4:00. Mrs. Cabral, our School Counselor will return on Friday, August 7th.

Online School Fee Payments
Student fee information will be available soon with the option to be pay online through PaySchools. Paying by check (written to Madeira Middle School) is still accepted, and will allow families to avoid additional fees that may be added using PaySchools. For families wishing to pay fees online, please review our updated Student Fees Page. A note to remember, PaySchools requires families to use a different email to create an account to pay our Madeira fees online if you already have an account to pay for lunch fees with Milford. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Student Fees for Madeira Middle School students are $65. Chromebook insurance is an optional $25 fee that is highly recommended. This can be added during your payment in Payschools under "Optional Fees". If you are Paying by check or cash the total would be $90 with the included insurance option.

You can add money to your student's account by following the steps below (please note this is NOT the same account to pay school fees).
To set-up/access your PaySchools account:
Go to PaySchools Central.
Click Register/Login.
Complete the information on the next few pages.
NOTE: When you get to the "District" questions - scroll down and choose Milford EVSV.
Continue to log in and complete.
Free and Reduced lunch applications will be available through your Milford Food Service PaySchools account beginning August 1st. Paper applications are also available in the front office. If your student received Free or Reduced lunches last school year, a new application is required every year.
Parent Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
School begins at 8:00 every day and ends at 3:00. Students can arrive as early as 7:45. Anyone coming in after 8:00 are considered tardy and will need to enter through the office to sign in.
For both parent drop-off and parent pick-up, the entrance into the MMS parking lot off of Miami, will be an EXIT ONLY. When arriving for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, cars should enter into the MMS parking lot from Marvin Ave. A couple of reminders:
Students should not enter or exit a car until it has reached the semi-circle area by the building. Parents please DO NOT pull around the cars in front of you after your student exits the car. We ask for the safety of our students, that you wait to pull forward until the cars begin to move out. The carline at MMS clears out very quickly.
The building opens at 7:45am. Students that are dropped off before can wait outside the drop-off/athletic entrance until the doors unlock.
In the afternoon, in order to keep a standing carline to a minimum timeframe, we ask that cars not arrive any earlier than 2:45pm for end of the day pick-up. Students are not released until 3:00.
When waiting in the car line, please do not block the driveways of our community residents.
Cars arriving for pick-up will need to stay in the pick-up line. Do not park in staff or visitor parking and wait for your student.
Most importantly, always be present and aware around your vehicle, keeping free of distractions such as cell phones.
The above reminders are important to keep our students safe. If you choose to drive your student to school or pick-up, please be patient. It will take some time to properly go through the drop-off and pick-up line. We will do our best to assist outside for a smooth process.
Another wonderful option for students is to ride the bus. Bus riders, please check our MCS Transportation website for updated policies, forms, and information. The 2026-27 bus stop will be posted on the Transportation page closer to the start of school.
Medication Drop-off
The MMS clinic will be open for families to drop off medications between 7:30 -3:00pm starting on Friday, August 14th . Please make sure all medications are accompanied by the required forms and are delivered by a parent or guardian. For questions, please contact our nurse, Madison Ehler at mehler@madeiracityschools.org.
First Day of School - Wednesday, August 19th
All students in grades 6th-8th will report to MMS on the first day of school. School begins at 8:00am. All 6th and 7th grade students should report to their 1st bell class and all 8th grade students will report to their homeroom.
School Pictures
