Last Week of School Reminders
Please have conversations with your students to make good choices, follow school rules and be a positive example to others at school and in our community. Students have the privilege to attend off campus locations in our community and its important that our students model good behavior, treat others with respect and follow school rules and directives by staff. This applies at school as well, but needs reinforced when leaving school property.
Please be sure your child dresses appropriately for their events this week, inside and out. Students are to bring water bottles for field day and outings with their classmates as well.
We look forward to having a nice week with everyone, finalizing our classwork, celebrating academic success and a great school year.
Thank you for reviewing this with your student(s). Have a wonderful week.

Students Will Be Keeping Their District Chromebook This Summer
Students in grades 3-12 will be keeping their Chromebooks over the summer break. Students will be responsible for keeping the Chromebooks and their cases in working order for use next year. If your student does experience any issues with their Chromebook over the summer, please click HERE or visit bit.ly/scssummertechticket to submit a Tech Ticket. A Tech Department member will contact you within two business days to assist. If your student is leaving the district over the summer, they will need to turn in their Chromebook on the last day of school. Please click HERE or visit bit.ly/scscbl to submit your student’s name to inform our department to collect the Chromebook. If you have any questions, please contact Dave Binkley at dbinkley@scsmustangs.org.

Summer Learning Program 2023
Summer Learning registration has begun. Summer Learning is an opportunity for students who need academic support to get targeted instruction based on critical grade level standards and skills. For Grades K-5, if your child was invited to participate this year, you should have received your invitation via email from Mary Marconi last Friday, April 21.
If you have had conversations with your child's teacher(s) regarding academic support throughout this school year, please look through your email to see if you received an invitation. The link to sign up for Summer Learning is on that invite.
Invitations to 6-10th grade students recommended for Summer Learning Support in English and/or math were emailed to parents recently. Please look for an email from Mary Marconi with the subject "Strongsville Schools Summer Learning Invitation" in your inbox. Registration information and details can be found there.
Enrollment for High School Credit Advancement, Credit Recovery and 6-12 Makerspace Camp is also open. You can find information about these programs HERE.
If you have any questions, please email grade K-5 questions to Amy Pinney (apinney@scsmustangs.org) and grade 6-12 questions to Nicole Hackman (nhackman@scsmustangs.org).
