Randall Weekly Update - Week 16
🎁 PTC Holiday Shoppe
8th graders in Financial Literacy class this semester had the opportunity to help out at this year's Holiday Shoppe. They did it all: shopped with younger students, helped them budget their money, collected the money, made change and wrapped each individual gift. The 8th graders did it all with a happy, helping smile making each student's shopping experience special! They were able to use the budgeting & money skills they've been learning during class in a real-life setting. 8th graders had so much fun, they voluntarily came back during their lunch hours to help out! We are extremely proud of them & can't wait to collaborate with the PTC again next year to create another memorable event for students of all ages. Thank you PTC for the opportunity to work together! 🎶🎄Secondary Winter Concert
Thank you so much to all of our Randall families and guests for joining us for our Secondary Winter Concert last night. Our student performers practiced hard to deliver an outstanding performance. The energy, enthusiasm and musicianship made the night memorable. We hope you enjoyed the music, the smiles, and the festive spirit as much as we did. Thank you again for being a part of this memorable night and for your continued support of our school community.
✅ Parent and Caregiver Survey:
Early in November, students in grades 3 through 8 took the fall 2025 student survey. Feedback and input are an important part of growing and continually striving for excellence in support of our students and staff, for our community. The three areas that our students rated the highest were the following:
I feel safe at Randall.
At Randall School, my teachers believe I can learn.
My teachers expect me to do my best all the time.
Students were asked a set of 13 total questions, which have remained consistent since the Fall of 2023. Two areas that our educators and staff plan to focus on throughout the year that are perceived to be the lowest are the following:
School rules are applied equally to all students.
I feel like I belong at Randall.
At this time, the Randall Administration is asking that sometime between December 4 and December 13 that all households complete the Randall Parent Satisfaction survey. The survey link can be accessed HERE or by pasting the link below. You will need to use the PRIMARY email address per household.

Counselor's Corner
From Ms. Roth
Hi Randall families!
Last week we started our EMPATHY topic in Character Strong/Guidance. We've really been focusing on why it's important to care about other people's feelings when they are both happy and sad. We want to celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge their tough days. It's been so wonderful to see how well they've been catching onto this topic. I told them that empathy is not necessarily a word we hear or use often, but it's something we show every day. :) Next week we will finish up our empathy topic and move onto a new one in January!
In Junior High today, our 8th graders had a great opportunity to have a Q&A session with some high schoolers from Wilmot! We've been talking all week about the different types of questions to ask and things that might be beneficial to know before they start high school in the fall. I found our 8th graders to be incredibly engaged and interested in what the high schoolers had to say. It was a really cool experience to be a part of!
I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season together!

Speak Up Speak Out Program for Randall
Randall School is pleased to announce the launch of the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT confidential tipline as part of our school safety efforts. Tiplines are used to identify threats to schools, and for concerns impacting school age youth such as bullying, drug use, suicidal thoughts and more. Schools that promote and use tiplines have less violence overall. The SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT (SUSO) tipline is run by the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Office of School Safety. Parents and students, this tool is available for anyone to use to help keep the Randall Community safe!
Randall students will engage in learning about how to advocate for their own (and others') safety and well-being over the next month in partnership with our counselor, Mrs. Roth, as well as other members of our student services team. We encourage you to speak with your child about the importance of communicating when/if they feel that their safety may be compromised.
Here is a LINK to an informational flyer about Speak Up Speak Out.
Thank you in advance for all of your support!
