Literacy Links - Summer Edition

Summer Reading Fun!

Did you ever want to fly into space like an astronaut, or climb the highest mountain? How would you like to spend some time with a playmate from the time of the Revolutionary War? Wouldn’t it be fun to score the winning goal in the Olympics? You can do all of these things and more – just read a book!!

Books take us on adventures that we can only imagine doing. There is nothing more fun than getting lost in a book on a hot summer day. Please remember to visit the library (www.mcl.org) or a local bookstore and pick out some books this summer. Be sure to check your child’s backpack for more information about the BF Summer Reading Club or visit our website for all the details (http://www.ltps.org/BenFranklin.cfm?subpage=17875).
