IMPORTANT SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Remediation
Dear ATHS Families,
We wanted to share an update about our 6th block for the next week. To better support our students, we will be offering a study hall and optional working lunch for students who may need extra help with grades or completing missing assignments. Teachers will be available during these times to provide support, answer questions, and help students get caught up.
Students who do not need academic support will continue with their regular 6th-block schedule as usual unless they have the EOC in Science in January. Those students will also have extra test prep provided during this time.
Please remember to check your student's grades regularly via Infinite Campus, especially as we approach the end of the semester on January 17th. Staying informed about their progress allows you to identify areas where they may need additional support and helps us work together to ensure their success.
We hope this extra layer of support helps our students finish the term strong. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out—we're always here to help!
Thank you for your partnership!
Pre-ACT Score Distribution & Upcoming EOC Testing Schedule
Tenth-grade students who participated in the Pre-ACT assessment in November received their individual score reports on December 3, 2025.
Students enrolled in Math 1, English II, and Biology will take their state End-of-Course (EOC) exams during the week of January 12–16. The testing schedule is as follows:
- January 12: Math 1
- January 13: English II
- January 14: Biology
- January 15–16: Makeup testing
Please note that only students required to test should report to campus during this week. All other students will remain at home and will receive additional instructions from their teachers regarding assignments or remote expectations.

Driver's Education for Aspire Students
Getting your driver's license is an exciting milestone! While Aspire doesn't offer driver's education on campus, we want to make sure you know about the affordable options available to our students.
Aspire students can take driver's education through their "home" high school - that's the school you would attend based on your address if you were going to a traditional public school. Through Jordan Driving School, the official partner for public school driver's ed, the cost is just $65, which is significantly less expensive than private driving schools.
Flexible Options That Work for You
We know our students have busy schedules, so Jordan Driving School offers several options for the classroom portion of driver's education. In addition to regular school-day classes, they provide Saturday sessions, summer classes, and virtual options. This flexibility means you can complete your driver's education without worrying about schedule conflicts.
The program includes both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel driving lessons, giving you everything you need to become a safe, confident driver.
To get started, visit their website at: https://www.jordandrivingschoolcharlotte.com/index.html
Driver Certificate Of Eligibility
If your student is requesting a Certificate of Eligibility, please allow two weeks for the processing to be completed. You can request a Student Certificate of Eligibility by contacting the front Office.
Please note that Same-day Certificate will not be provided.
