Dear Mesquite Elementary Families,
We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Festival on Friday, November 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thank you to PTSO and the staff and volunteers who are supporting with our Fall Festival! This week I would like to highlight our amazing and dedicated Special Areas team! Mrs. Pardy, Mrs. Sturdevant, Mr. Martins, and Mr. Gonzalez make a difference each day! As a team they support our campus in untold ways going above and beyond! We are grateful for all they do!
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is currently open! As you start thinking about junior highs for next year, please know that we feed into Greenfield Junior High School, South Valley Junior High School, and students have the option to apply to Gilbert Accelerated Middle School at Gilbert High School, Gilbert Classical Academy, and/or Gilbert, Talented, and Creative Program at Highland Junior High School.
Sincerely,

Town of Gilbert Community Excellence Volunteer of the Year Award
Mrs. Sheila Uggetti Volunteer of the Year - Tina Judd, Volunteer, Mesquite Elementary
Mrs. Tina Judd is an incredible parent and member of our local community who truly supports everyone at Mesquite Elementary School. She volunteers her time tirelessly which includes leading the Mesquite Elementary Musical Theater Club as well as volunteering for and supporting PTSO and Site Council. When Mrs. Judd saw a musical theater production at another campus she knew she wanted to bring this vision to the students and families of Mesquite Elementary. She created the program from the ground up over ten years ago, growing it into the amazing program it is today with over 100 students involved in an annual theater production. Students are cast based on their performances but most importantly all students are able to participate and contribute in some way. Students practice for months culminating in a performance in Gilbert High School auditorium with sound, lights, and a packed audience. Mrs. Judd works year round, communicating with families, designing sets, finding scripts and more, and this is just one of the ways she supports Mesquite Elementary as a volunteer. Thank you Mrs. Judd for all you do for our Mesquite Elementary students and for being a part of our GPS Family.
