Happy December, Roadrunner Families! ✨

As we embrace the festive season and approach the end of the first semester, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We remain committed to finishing strong and working alongside you to support your child’s success. Your involvement helps make our school a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community for everyone. The month of December is filled with exciting opportunities for learning, growth, and celebration!

📌 Attendance Reminder:

Our school day begins promptly at 7:50 AM, and consistent attendance is key to student success—every day counts! To support timely arrivals:

• Parents/guardians dropping off students after 7:50 AM will receive a Parent Tardy—a friendly reminder of our start time.

• Students arriving at 8:05 AM or later must be signed in by a parent/guardian at the front office.

We appreciate your partnership in creating a smooth, on-time start for all students. ✨ Details about this month’s events are included below. We are thrilled to announce that Smith Elementary will be offering childcare for CCISD employees! Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.

If you need childcare for a child between 6 weeks and 3 years old (turning 3 after September 1st), please complete the application and select your preferred location.

We’re excited to support our CCISD families with this opportunity!
