Stewart Parent Star Report
January 23, 2026
Dear Stewart Elementary Community,
On Monday, several important events will take place: the SEP Scheduler will open on myDSD for you to schedule your parent-teacher conference, parent and student surveys on myDSD will open (we strongly encourage all families to participate, as this feedback helps guide school improvement), the school board will host a Parent Engagement Night, and we will kick off our school fundraiser with a student assembly.
Parking Reminder: Please do not park in the south drive through lanes during drop-off and pick-up. If you need to park, you can park in one of the designated parking stalls and walk into the building. For student safety and traffic flow, please remain in your vehicle and avoid parking in the drive through lane. Thank you for your cooperation!
Here are the three things that you need to know for the week.
- Best of Davis Awards are now open. If there is an employee at Stewart that you would like to nominate, please take just a couple of minutes to fill out the form. Best of Davis Awards
- This Thursday is Chinese New Year. We will have dinner available for $10 if you are interested. All families are welcome to join us. We have a wide variety of activities planned.
- Students will bring home a flyer Monday for our chocolate fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $13,000 for technology at Stewart! If you prefer not to participate but would like to donate, you can do so here: Technology Fundraiser - DSD Give. All students who return their flyer will receive the first prize, whether they choose to sell or not.
Sincerely,
Michelle Yoho and Laura Campbell
